Pokemon Emerald is the third game in the third generation of Pokemon games which are based in the Hoenn region.

Pokemon Emerald offers way more in depth game play then early games in the series Ruby & Sapphire and involves both Team Aqua & Magma in the main story line.

Pokemon Emerald also brings back Pokemon animations last seen in Pokemon Crystal and offers many more areas to explore such as Battle Frontier, Mirage Tower,Terra Cave,Studio Cave,Desert Underpass & Magma Hideout.

The Battle Frontier is like Pokemon Season 9 where you battle the frontier brains but in the game you must battle a barrage of trainers before getting the there leader.

Pokemon Emeralds Pokemon League is also setup different with new Pokemon and even a whole new gym leader.It also has a great cut scene with the main legendary Pokemon of the Hoenn region.
