Pokemon Platinum Is the third game in the 4th Generation of Pokemon and has same setting as Diamond & Pearl but with a twist.
Pokemon Platinum is based in the Sinnoh region of pokemon just as Diamond & Pearl and offers a special area called the Distortion World where Giratina lays.

Pokemon Platinum has a Redone Wifi room unlike Diamond and Pearl that only showed a screen letter and options Platinums has a room with people sprites and movable around it making it easier to find your opponent.
Pokemon Platinum can connect Diamond,Pearl,Heartgold,Soulsilver and battle over Wifi. It can also connect to games like ruby,Sapphire,Emerald,Firered & Leafgreen if played on the ds or ds lite systems.Starters Image and video hosting by TinyPic
