Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver are remakes of the original Generation 2 Games Pokemon Gold & Silver games released in 1999. These games are based in the Johto & Kanto regions Just as Gold & Silver and were released in Japan on September 12th 2009.
Heartgold & Soulsilver bring back the 250 Pokemon from Kanto and Johto back with better graphics.
Heartgold & Soulsilver also has Pokemon catchable from the Hoenn and Sinnoh regions Including Legendarys such as Latias in Heartgold, Latios in Soulsilver, Kyorge in Heartgold, Groudon in Soulsilver, Rayquaza if both Kyorge and Groudon are transfered to the same game Dialga,Palkia & Giratina.
Heartgold & Soulsilver Came packed with a item called the Pokewalker which acted like a pedometer that can hold Pokemon level them up and even catch Pokemon on the Pokewalker also gain Exp. for your deposited Pokemon by walking.
Heartgold & Soulsilver have a area called the Pokeathlon which had set of mini-games that a set of 3 pokemon participated in mainly controlled by the DS touch screen. You also earned point after which you can redeem for items such as a Dawn Stone,Heartscale and many more. The items change each day.
Heartgold & Soulsilver also had Events such as the Spiked ear Pichu which unlocked the celebi in Ilex forest. also had a area called the Sinjoh ruins where Diagla,Palkia & Giratini can be found which the event Arceus.
Heartgold & Soulsilver can communicate with the past ds games such as Diamond,Pearl & Platinum over Wifi. With a Ds or Ds Lite you can transfer Pokemon from past GBA games such as Ruby,Sapphire,Emerald,Firered & Leafgreen though the GBA slot.
